Matthew is a fully qualified acupuncturist under the British Acupuncture Council having completed a degree level training program at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading. He specialises in combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture with Chinese Energy Massage (Qi Gong Tui Na).
Matthew’s sensitive and gentle approach to patient care will put you at ease. All aspects of your health will be assessed using traditional methods and a carefully formulated treatment plan will be followed, tailored to your specific needs.
Some patients have found the use of a journal to be extremely beneficial in providing valuable feedback on their road to improved health and this is something ‘The Acupuncture Works’ fully endorses.
For those patients who are serious about taking control of their well-being, Matthew will advise various stretches, Qigong (energy) exercises which are Tai Chi-like in nature as well as nutritional advice aimed at supporting ongoing treatment.
