I am fully qualified and registered with the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) in Sports Massage Level 5 and advanced massage techniques. Level 5 in advanced Dry Needling and Medical Acupuncture. I am also registered in Kinesio Taping after completing KT1 and KT2 in taping.
I am a fully qualified instructor in Pilates mat work. Pilates is my passion and feel it is so important to keep a strong balanced core. I fell in love with Pilates after starting as a complete beginner and soon seeing and feeling the benefits. I have never felt stronger. Not only is it a full body work out it also clears the mind and allows you to focus with our hetic lives.
I also run, cycle, swim and regularly go to the gym where I regulary attend hiit classes, boxing, pilates and circuits. I have competed in local cycling sportives, crossfit competetions, triathlons, half and full marathons and am only too aware of the importance of sports massage, a strong core and staying injury free.
It is so rewarding working with sportsmen and women and helping them with their journeys whether it is a professional runner, an ironman or someone who loves sport and staying healthy, active and working towards their own personal goals.
Alongside sports there is nothing better than carrying out a deep tissue or relaxation treatment on someone and seeing the transformation of someone who is stressed, tired and tense, having their treatment and leaving relaxed and rejuvenated. Or working with people and seeing them progress through their Pilates classes.
Not all my clients are sports related, I am seeing more and more office workers, barbers, cleaners, parents. We all hold tension and move in repetitive ways which builds up tension and muscles soreness.
