I created this page to build a place were I could offer professional styling services to a variety of people, while also being able to explore my love for design, style, creativity and writing.
A bit about me ... I was born and raised in country Western Australia. Growing up with my family on our farm was amazing; having so much free space to run free, helping out when needed and not having to deal with traffic on a daily were just a few perks. I attended a local District High School before heading off to Boarding School to complete my final years of High School; followed by embarking on University. I have since graduated as a Speech Pathologist and have been working as a Speech Pathologist in country Western Australia ever since.
Throughout School and University my loves included dancing, dogs of all kinds, coffee, exploring, camping, my friends and family, and of course fashion. I remember telling people the best part of my day was waking up in the morning; because I got to decide what to wear for the day. I would mix and match my entire wardrobe until I got the exact look I was aiming for; it always ended up with a messy room but was so much fun and exciting to see what would come together.
I don't know about the rest of you but I knew once I'd hit my mid 20's I wanted something else other than my 9 to 5 career; something to explore in my own time; and something for a creative outlet. Once discovering Fashion Styling, I knew I had to give it a shot. I completed my course through the "Australian College of Professional Styling' and found a love for this industry. And so 'Laura Alice Styling' was born with the incredible support of my wonderful family and friends.
With so much connection to the country from my childhood I will always have a special place for it in my heart. Therefore my aim with this business is to offer services within the Perth Metro area but also country Western Australia, well all of Australia for that matter. I want to be able to reach people that may not have the opportunity to come to Perth or major centers for services.
So here we are ... Creating 'Laura Alice Styling' to showcase myself, follow my dreams and show people, no matter who you are, that you are amazing! My aim is to teach, support and encourage people to be the best version of themselves and to feel comfortable.
