Such a nice surprise to see this bakery coming out of Burnt Oak station, especially since I hadn’t had breakfast. Loads of tasty bakes to choose from, I grabbed an almond croissant (so big and so much filling!) and a salted pretzel. Loads of pretzel options with different toppings too. Definitely stopping by again if I’m around in the area again.

Bagels used to be consistently fresh and very good, but lately the quality has declined. They’re often hard, and the fillings—especially pistachio—are very inconsistent. Some bagels barely have any filling at all.
I politely mentioned this to one of the staff members, but the response was that “sometimes it’s like that and there’s nothing we can do,” which was disappointing. From a customer’s perspective, it doesn’t feel fair to receive an underfilled or stale bagel, especially when consistency and quality are what made this place stand out before.
I really hope the bagels can be made fresh every day and that the filling quality becomes consistent again, because this place used to be excellent and I’d love to keep coming back.

😇 I traveled 12 miles to enjoy a Romanian pretzel. Of course I didn't get one, but 7 so that I would have enough 🤣🤣 Very good and fresh. Very polite and helpful staff. Highly recommend 😇

Well… just visited the location at the opening time. Few pretzels and few other items. (Good quality though). For any other items I was informed that I have to wait for few more hours… I didn’t know that they have coffee or other beverages. The establishment was not 100% ready for business at the opening time. It looks like are some differences between the terms “ready for business”, “ready for opening” or “ready for customers”.

I’ve been looking all over London for authentic Romanian covrigi and this shop finally ended my search. The service was excellent, the staff were so friendly and polite! I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know.
Ps: I recommend you try the poppy seeded ones!
