well-being or beauty. The lovely Holly and her team are awe-inspiring with their TCM (and Western) knowledge which they generously share without upselling.

I know she didn’t mean to, hopefully, but she actually really hurt me. If you are bendy and bruise easily, do not go there. I booked a deep tissue massage, which was painful and left bruises. I don’t think a good massage should leave bruises, but during that she did check on about my pain and went easier (most of the time) when I said it was painful. But she also started gua sha on my back, which I didn’t book or ask for and didn’t know what it was. She did check in about the pain but didn’t stop when I said it hurt. She did warn me it would leave marks but I’m actually quite upset by how painful it was and how awful I look. I just wanted help relaxing my back muscles and now I’m sat here full of bruises and in much more pain than before with a sore back from tensing through the gua sha pain. Like I said - she probably didn’t mean to, but it was not a good experience. I wish I had known what I was getting into, so I would have had the presence of mind to leave when it got too much.

I had the deep tissue massage and it was amazing. Bo came and took my pulse and told me which areas she thinks we should work on, she seems very knowledgable. Then Serena did the massage downstairs and it was amazing. I felt brand new after and so relaxed. I saw other comments about the place / space and honestly you need to look past that, it's totally fine and the actual massage room is warm, cosy, comfy and I will definitely be back. I really appreciate Bo and Serena for making me feel so good today!

My facial with Serena this morning was the best I've ever had. Yes, the decor is a little rustic but don't let that deter you. My experience at Starvita was like discovering that a michelin star chef works in your local cafe. I can't recommend them enough.
