The Z4 has a great specification -
• M Sport Seats + M Steering Wheel + M Sports Suspension
• Electrically Adjustable Seats with Memory on Drivers Side
• Heated Seats (three stage)
• Park Distance Control (rear)
• Xenon Headlights
• Climate Control
• Cruise Control
• Anthracite Roof Lining
• Storage Compartment Pack
• Chome Line Interior
The Aircon is ICE Cold and the heated seats are absolutely fantastic, best I've ever had in a car. There are also no warning lights on the dash. Michelin Pilot Sport 5's all round (rears - 5mm & fronts - 7mm)
Of course, being a near 20yr old BMW it does have a few issues. I believe in being upfront about these so you know exactly what to expect with the car. When purchasing mine, I looked at a number of lower mileage Z4's that were described as ‘perfect’ with ‘no issues’ which were actually riddled with problems, particularly most of the common ones!
• There are two small bubbling patches of rust coming though - on the NSF Arch and in front of the NSR arch (you can see them in the photos - they don't actually look as bad in reality) Though they haven't broken the paint, they will need attention in the near future to prevent progression
• There's a subtle minor rattle from the clutch when released at idle. Probably either the release bearing or clutch springs - it doesn't affect the drive and considering it hasn't ever had a clutch it can be attended to in the future when necessary
• There's a little rattle from the rear which is only noticeable over really rough, bumpy road surfaces. Could well be a drop link, but hard to tell without putting it on a ramp as the rear suspension is tightly packed within the subframe
• There may be a broken clip (or two) on the OSF Front Bumper corner (the previous owner mentioned he nudged a bollard in a carpark)
• There's a small (but obvious) pimple dent on the top of the OSF wing - it'll be easily removable through PDR, I just haven't got round to doing it
• The rubber/plastic trim around the windscreen isn't brilliant, but hey it's 19 years old!
Considering its age, it's in great shape - it does of course have some stone-chips and tiny scuffs, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a great car, I've loved it. Unfortunately I need a practical 5-dr for family reasons so the Z4 has to go. It starts first time, idles perfectly, sounds fantastic, revs beautifully and drives great.
I've enclosed a short video from a completely cold start - I decided not to clean the engine bay in order to show how dry it is. I'm happy to take/send more photos or any videos required via whatsapp. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
The car is located in Rye, East Sussex and payment will be required via Bank Transfer. No group viewings.
