I have made full use of the available channels on this radio 1-16 are the licence-free, two-way walkie-talkies channels operating on the PMR446 frequencies They are legally capped at a 0.5-watt output and use a fixed antenna.
The other 4 channels are for armature use only. The repeaters CH17 GB3WO, CH18 GB3BR, CH19 GB3HY. Channel 20 is a local Allstar Node Gateway. New in the box programmed £18
You can modify the channels to your own requirement if you are confident to do it. I can supply a programming cable for £5. The radio does not come with a programming cable only a charging cable and this will not programme it I had to buy one myself from Baofeng to program this radio.
