1961 Austin Seven Mini De-Luxe – RAC School of Motoring, 90,150 miles, Manual, MOT: Exempt

A charming early Austin Seven Mini De-Luxe, supplied new by Atkey’s Ltd of Nottingham and understood to retain its original bodyshell, finished in Speedwell Blue with Grey and Blue interior.

The Mini is presented as period-style RAC School of Motoring evocation, complete with roof-mounted sign, learner plates and decommissioned dual controls. These accessories are removable should the next owner prefer a more traditional appearance.

The original engine was replaced many years ago and the car is now fitted with an 850cc unit understood to date from 1973. It also benefits from an impressive 28 years in the ownership of one previous keeper.

A substantial history file accompanies the car, including a BMIHT Heritage Certificate, restoration photographs, old MOT certificates, 1996 bill of sale, old V5 copy and current V5C, together with an Austin Seven Driver's Handbook and period Highway Code.

The Mini was driven recently for over 50 miles and performed faultlessly throughout, never missing a beat and proving a very enjoyable drive.
