KSD Environmental Services is a busy and growing waste management business and is looking for an experienced and safety-conscious 360 Excavator Operator to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, and long-term stability within a fast-paced recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 360 excavator fitted with a grab (selector grab).
Load hoppers feeding a trommel and picking station.
Load and unload HGVs and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
Move and manage waste materials across the site.
Assist with picking and sorting materials when required to maintain site efficiency.
Carry out daily machine checks and complete defect sheets.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating a 360 excavator with grab attachment (waste/recycling experience preferred).
Experience loading trommels or working within a picking station environment is advantageous.
Strong health & safety awareness.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a good attitude.
Able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Hours & Pay: £15 per hour
Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:30
Saturday on a rota basis: 07:00 – 12:00
