14.1hh, 16-year-old Welsh mare looking for a knowledgeable, loving forever home.
This is an incredibly difficult decision and absolutely no fault of her own. Due to changes in my circumstances and struggling to give her the time she deserves, I’m tentatively looking for the right home for Wynny. I’ve owned her for around three years and finding the right person is far more important to me than a quick sale.
Wynny is a lovely, safe and sensible mare who is mainly looking for a hacking/leisure home. She is safe without being a complete plod and really enjoys getting out and about. She hacks alone or in company and is brilliant in traffic, making her ideal for someone looking for a lovely horse to enjoy hacking and countryside rides with.
She is good to load, for the farrier and turning out. She has happily lived in both individual and herd turnout.
Wynny does have mild arthritis which has been treated and is currently in light work. I’m very happy to discuss her history and management in more detail with genuinely interested people.
Wynny means an enormous amount to me, so a kind, knowledgeable and ideally long-term/forever home is essential. I would love to find someone who will genuinely adore her and enjoy her for the horse she is.
She will not be sold unseen and I will be very selective about where she goes. Home is much more important than price.
