"Wispa (carrhouse gypsy moon)" Bay Mare All Rounder

Wispa – 12yo 14.2hh Registered BSP

A very sad and reluctant sale of our lovely Wispa, a 12-year-old registered BSP who has been with us for the past three years.

Prior to coming to us, Wispa had a successful background as a show pony. With us she has enjoyed a quieter, lower-level life, but sadly my daughter has now outgrown her and lost interest. Wispa is far too lovely to become a field ornament and deserves a home where she can get out, have some fun and enjoy having a job again.

At 12, she has that lovely combination of maturity and experience whilst still having plenty of years ahead of her. Her previous showing experience really shows when you take her out — at competitions she knows her job, settles into the occasion and is an absolute delight to have out.

Wispa is a beautifully natured, intelligent mare. She is good to catch, great to load and hacks well. She is currently shod in front only and is up to date with vaccinations.

She is a bright pony who enjoys variety in her work. Endless schooling at home isn’t really her idea of fun and, being an intelligent mare, she isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s bored! She would really thrive with someone who will keep her interested with a mixture of hacking, schooling, clinics and outings.

Wispa is not a plod and is therefore not suitable for a novice. She needs a competent, balanced rider who can ride quietly and effectively. We feel her ideal partnership would be with a confident, kind teenager or small adult who will appreciate a responsive, intelligent pony and enjoy getting the best from her.

She can be mareish when in season, but outside of this she is generally very chilled and easy to have around.

This is genuinely a reluctant sale and finding the right home is extremely important to us. She has been part of our family for three years and we would love to see her go on and have some fun with someone who will make the most of her experience and give her the varied life she enjoys.

Wispa will come with her tack and rugs, as all of my other horses are 17hh and unfortunately nothing will be of much use to us!
