Description

William.

12.3hh 9 year old chestnut gelding - perfect lead rein or 2nd pony

William is a kind and affectionate eye catching boy, excels in showing and always in the frillies 🏵️ sadly for sale due to being outgrown

William is a very sweet, polite and sensitive boy who absolutely loves to make a bond, he loves people and is just the sweetest pony to be around. He is solely handled by children. My daughter catches him, bathes him, picks his feet out, pampers him and he will stand for hours with a hay net.

* 100% to load and travel in a trailer or lorry.

* Perfect for the farrier, dentist etc.

* Happy at stay away shows / horsey holidays.

He loves hacking and this is where he really excels, he is happy alone or in company. 100% in traffic. He is hacked regularly by my daughter’s novice friend who mooches about on him for hours. We’ve been away on horsey holidays hacking around the New Forest and he absolutely loves it. We regularly hack to our local pub to stop for some chips where he gets loads of attention.

My daughter has mainly focused on happy hacking and low level local shows. She jumps him at home sometimes, but she is nervous when jumping and William needs a rider that he can really take confidence from when jumping round a course at shows, for this reason if you want to jump he is very much a second pony.

In his previous home he did lots of XC and PC, so he has done it all, but with a confident little rider, which my daughter is sadly not - so he has really stepped down for her.

William would be happiest in a low level hacking home or as an exceptional lead rein pony. He has the looks to make a quality lead rein show pony - I beleive he could excel in this area.

For a confident child he could progress and do much more than this.

£4,000 including a large wardrobe of quality rugs, bridle and Kent & Masters saddle.
