"Tommy ride & drive " Piebald Gelding Cob/Heavy Horse

The amazing Tommy ride & drive pony.

Tommy is a heavy 14hh 12yrs old gypsy cob gelding.

Tommy is the one in a million type pony.

Tommy came to us just over 4yrs ago and has been absolutely amazing, he will take care of any passenger from a toddler to a granny.

Never spooks, never gets silly in open spaces ( doesn’t even lift his head ), hacks out alone or in company, will go up front or behind.

His love is his cart but we have mainly done hacking with him, his last home was more cart work. He will try anything you ask of him so has so much more potential to do more.

Due to being short on riders Tommy has been ridden with leading our mare out alongside him at all 3 paces and is great at doing this so he would be perfect for someone who wants to ride and take out their lead-rein pony with them or help train youngsters.

Tommy can live in or out, is un-shod, a very good doer, great at being clipped (other than face), good with farrier, loves mares & geldings, can happily be left alone if everyone else has gone out for a hack, never had the vet out for injury or illness, he is not a bolshy cob, he has great manners. You may not ride him for weeks and he will still be as good as gold when you get back on him. He is just an amazing boy who deserves an amazing home.

We are only re-homing him purely because he needs a new Mummy to give him the love and attention he deserves due to his owner retiring from riding from health issues and he is not getting ridden enough now.

Up to date with teeth & vaccinations - booked for 4th August.

Up to date with farrier - booked for 13th August ( barefoot)

Will come with everything he owns, tack, cart & harness, rugs, personalised head collar.

We would love a LWVTB from our yard so we can see that Tommy is going with the right person for him but also understand this may not be possible.
