I’ve owned spirit now for three years and honestly I can’t say a bad word about him he is so so easy you can have him stabled have him living out leave him in or out on his own he really doesn’t care he easy to look after very kind and loving on the ground easy to clip travel etc will go in a lorry or a trailer he’d probably get in the boot of you car if you asked him 😂 he hacks out alone or in company never bucks rears or get silly etc
He has been down the beach, showjumping, showing, xc, ode,the gallops , riding club horse trials championships where he jumped double clear, he’s very brave and bold! hunting is the thing he really excels in he loves it stands at the meet will go back middle front anywhere you put him will go off on his own and leave everyone else will pop a rail, log ditch etc he has whipped in two so good with hounds he does go nicely on the flat but this is where he would need a bit of extra work as I am certainly no dressage rider and brought him to mainly hunt
He has done three season with the Essex and Suffolk now
I’ve taken him on holiday with me a few times to stay away shows and he settles in straight away causes no problems he’s been on a horsey holiday to holkham beach went straight in the water with no bother
Only selling as I am looking for a horse to step up the level showjumping and I feel that spirit is more happy at 70/80 level and it’s not fair for me to push him if I had the room I would just keep him to hunt and have fun on but unfortunately I don’t
He will only go to a 5 star home that i can stay in contact with in absolutely no rush to sell him he will only go to the very best home
