Dartmoor hill pony
About 11hh (not measured)
Good to handle and used to young kids etc (handled daily/bathed etc by confident kids and young teenager)
tacks up well, long lines and has had young kids on her in walk on lead.
Also good walking out and about in hand with a young teenager seen traffic etc and very well behaved
Takes time to trust new people and definitely not ready to just get on and go yet. All the basics are done but she needs someone with more time to give her regular work and attention.
Good to lead and travel but needs more work with the farrier. Has been bathed etc no issues.
She will make a gorgeous lead rein or 1st ridden pony with a bit more work.
Owned for almost 2 years and I was hoping to continue working with her for my daughter as a little lead rein pony.
Only for sale as she takes advantage of bad electric fencing (she's fine if it's powerful and well done although she might still test it), but if it's a noob job like ours she takes full advantage to get to greener grass 😅😅
Perfect home would be an experienced horse family with group turnout and good routine and a confident younger child willing to work with a bit of a project for the summer and have a lovely lead rein or first ridden pony in a few months time.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc.
