"Sky" Fleabitten Grey Mare All Rounder

• 16.3hh approx, 17 years old (12.05.2009)

• Irish Sports Horse (Welcome Zidane x Skydato)

• Not a novice ride, but kind temperament & not mareish

• Good to box, clip & shoe

Sky is currently in light work due to lack of time, but she’s straightforward to bring back into a fuller routine. She hacks alone or in company; solo hacking may just need reintroducing. She will go in front or behind. She can have the occasional look or spook (mainly pheasants) but is generally sensible — previously hacked over a busy M25 bridge without issue.

She will school, but can become sour if over-schooled due to her past, and has planted a handful of times in the arena (though not since 2024). She much prefers hacking and varied work or she gets bored, though is happy to do a job and still has the odd lesson with her current loaner.

Sky has done a bit of everything including XC and eventing (limited history known). She hasn’t done much jumping in the past few years but has popped fences both in the school and out hacking.

Currently kept on a farm so is used to seeing machinery, cows and sheep. She does gain confidence from her rider and other horses, so would suit someone calm and reassuring.

Previously a broodmare with approx. 3–4 foals and was said to be a very good mum.
