💖 Sienna is looking for her next home 💖

15.2hh, 10-year-old Thoroughbred mare. I have owned Sienna for 5 years and, sadly, due to work, I no longer have the time she deserves.

Sienna is gentle, sensible and well-mannered. She likes her own space but is lovely to handle and will come over for a scratch!

🌿 HACKING

Experienced, sensible hack who has been used as a nanny for younger horses.

✨ Alone or in company

✨ Happy in front, behind or in the middle

✨ Good with roads & farm machinery

✨ Sensible in open spaces & countryside

✨ Good to ride & lead / be led

✨ Does not take off in open spaces and comes back when asked

She does not buck or rear, although she may occasionally spook at the odd leaf! 😂

🏕️ EXPERIENCE

Pony Club rallies, camps and a confidence camp with Sam York at Epworth Equestrian. Previously a polo pony and used to mares, geldings and different horses.

🏇 RIDING

Good in all paces and responsive to voice aids. She does NOT enjoy traditional schooling and will NOT work in a contact. This is not something I want a new home to change.

She can jump and enjoys poles, but I would prefer a hacking home.

⚠️ NOT suitable for nervous, novice or inexperienced riders. She needs a confident, sympathetic and knowledgeable rider.

🧼 HANDLING

Good to load, catch, groom, farrier and vet. Good with other horses and has good stable manners. Can pull faces when girthing.

Currently living out 24/7 and ideally looking for the same or plenty of turnout.

❤️ IDEAL HOME

Experienced, loving home wanting a hacking horse for countryside rides and a quieter life. Sienna has no need to be a competition horse and deserves someone who appreciates her.
