"Rhino" Chestnut Gelding Ex Racehorse

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I am looking for the very best home for my much-loved Rhino.

I’ve owned Rhino for the past 3 years, giving him plenty of time to let down after racing and enjoy life. He has the sweetest personality and is an absolute yard favourite, always making people smile.

Rhino hacks alone and in company, is good in open spaces and enjoys his work. He’s been brought back into regular work gradually and is ridden in both a racing saddle and a GP saddle. He is responsive, forward going, fun, and loves having a job to do.

He lives out happily 24/7 in a mixed herd but is equally happy to come in if needed. He’s good to catch, load, travel, shoe, and for the dentist and vet. Is known to box walk.

Rhino would suit a confident and sympathetic rider looking for a genuine horse to enjoy hacking, fun rides, riding club activities, or low-level competition. He thrives with consistency and a kind partnership.

This is a heartbreaking sale, so finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick sale. He will only go to a knowledgeable home where he will be loved as much as he is now.
