Cheeky Welsh Pony Looking for His Next Best Friend 🐴

8-year-old Welsh pony, just under 12hh

Sadly, the time has come for our much-loved pony to find his next home as his jockey is ready to move on.

This cheeky chap has been handled, ridden and adored by our 8-year-old for the past two years. He’s a genuine, fun little pony with heaps of character and has given our daughter so many wonderful memories.

He has seen and done a bit of everything, including:

* Pony Club

* Local shows

* Camps

* Arena hires

* Farm rides

* Beach rides

* Plenty of hacking

He’s brilliant in traffic and will happily hack alone, although he does prefer the company of another horse where possible, will lead or follow out hacking & won’t get silly in big groups.

Being a typical Welsh pony, he has a cheeky personality and isn’t a complete novice ride. He excels as a lead rein pony and would go far in the show ring but we haven’t pursued this as my daughter isn’t interested.

This is a very sad sale, so finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.

He’s good to clip, lead, for dentist, farrier and our 8 year old can do all these things with him. He can be quirky to travel alone but when it’s done consistently he settles and always travels with another perfectly.

He’s happy to live in or out but excels in a yard / herd setting and not individual turnout. Currently lives on a working farm & is around tractors and machinery daily.
