A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine, talented and kind horse with an exceptional temperament.

Primo is a 16.1hh, 9-year-old Irish Sports Horse gelding and a true gentleman in every sense. With the loveliest personality, he is a pleasure to have around both at home and at competitions. Easy to handle and eager to please, he really is everyone's favourite.

He has previously competed successfully in eventing up to CCI 2*. More recently, I have competed him at amateur level showjumping due to my own experience, where he has always looked after me and given me confidence. He is a true schoolmaster who will happily step up or step down to suit his rider, making him equally suitable for someone wanting to gain experience or continue progressing as he has done with me.

He is good to shoe, clip and load, and is straightforward to do in all ways.

The only reason for this heartbreaking sale is that I am going to university for the next five years and simply won't have the time he deserves. This is an incredibly difficult decision, so finding him the right home is my absolute priority so no time wasters or trial periods.

He has recently finished a quieter period while I completed my A Levels, so he is not currently at full competition fitness. This is reflected in his price and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to produce a quality horse without paying a premium.
