"Parkin" Chestnut Gelding Happy Hacker

Very sad sale of a much-loved 16.3hh 15 year old gelding, owned for the past 8 years.

He has a wonderfully kind, steady temperament and is as straightforward to handle on the ground and under saddle. He is the same to ride whether he’s been worked regularly or had a few weeks off.

He hacks alone and in company, sensible in traffic and out in open spaces. Regularly hacking beside the M62, over fly overs, through the village and round open countryside.

He will school in the arena and pop a jump but he’s been mostly used to hack with me would be suited to fun rides also.

Easy to do in all ways – good to clip, shoe, load, catch and handle. Good with the dentist, all his vaccinations are up to date. Currently he lives out over the summer months and in during the winter months but would be happy with either, he is a very good doer.

Perfect for an intermediate or confident transition rider looking for a safe, established partner for hacking, local riding club activities, or general fun.
