Now for the down side of Nelly..
Unfortunately at moment, I wouldn't sell as a child's pony as she can be a bit bolshy on the ground, she also finds the prospect of riding around in circles in the arena, totally pointless.. I don't particularly enjoy it either, so we don't bother.. I am sure that could be worked on.
She has been ridden by novice children a couple of times and has behaved.. but its just the on the ground bit that makes me doubt her.
Nelly has the typical itchy cob legs and sadly has rubbed quite alot of feather off her back legs in the past few weeks. So probably going to spoil any chances for showing for this season.
My ideal home for Nelly would be a competent person who is confident on the ground who can handle her firmly but fairly who just wants a really safe pony to do plenty of hacking/pleasure rides that doesn't cost the earth to keep. She is currently shod all round as I do alot of road work, but could probably manage without if you did off road.
I have clipped her myself a few times, its not her favourite thing, but shes not terrible.
She has had her 1st and 2nd flu and tetanus vaccinations and jus recently had dectomax injections ( feather mites) .
