"Morjoy Lord Lauantee (Levi) " Bay Gelding All Rounder

16.3 (approx) 7 year old bay gelding. Grandsire is Broadstone Ladies Man

✅A very uncomplicated and easy to do horse. Very polite and well mannered. More woah than go , albeit he is competition bred so not a novice horse due to age. Will turn his hoof to anything

✅Enjoys doing a little bit of everything. The sort of horse you could not ride for a month and get on and he’d be the same as the last time you rode him!

✅Has done jumping training over bright jumps and fillers, been to Somerford camp and done XC. Ridden with others and was an angel. Gone to the gallops alone and in company. Will go in front or behind. Did a fair bit of jumping / training last year but over the winter I focused on flatwork and decided jumping isn’t for me. However Levi loves it. He will go off any stride and isn’t phased. Will probably never pull you into a fence but will always try get to the other side

✅Snaffle mouthed and relatively well balanced for a big growing horse. Started doing basic lateral work and is capable but needs to continue his education in this area

✅Currently lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd, but has lived with geldings and in his own field.

✅ Comes with Lemieux bridle & breastplate. As well as a couple of swish turnout rugs.

✅ Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and worming

✅ Good to clip, shoe, box, goes on the walker, stands in the washroom etc

🌳 Has hacked previously but due to the location of the current yard and lunatic drivers, I no longer hack him (or any of my other horses) for safety of both me and him.

Requirements for new owner:

⚠️ Must have access to turnout in winter - he lived in this winter and whilst mentally he coped, it doesn’t suit him physically. Previously I have had him out and this suits him better

⚠️ He does have a shiver. This wasn’t picked up during the vetting I had done on him but it is there. He requires a calm and patient farrier. I don’t have him shod behind and it hasn’t affected him.

⚠️ Because of the above, he requires adequate movement / exercise and strengthening work, e.g. poles & hills. We’ve done lots of in-hand poles and he has really strengthened up a lot in the two years I’ve had him

⚠️ Must be able to offer him a lovely home / life, in which he will not be drilled with work and given time to continue to develop and grow. He is a big horse and has grown a lot (both upwards and outwards) since I’ve owned him

⚠️ Levi requires some remedial dentistry work doing to his jaw every 18 months or so, otherwise he has a very sore TMJ. Last time my dentist did this it was £130 so fairly affordable

🤩Overall Levi is a cracking horse who I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and getting to know over the past 2 years. Every time I have taken him somewhere he has excelled and always receives a lot of lovely comments from people. I only want the best home for him 🤩
