Albert is a lovely homebred 6yo 16hh. He’s a GB Sport Horse, sired by Nelson Z (1.60m SJ), and his dam is still sound & out competing SJ at 26yrs with her 74yo owner.

He’s low mileage, having had time to mature, spending his 4 & 5yrs hacking. He’s quickly progressed with his jumping in the past few weeks, comfortably jumping BE90 fences, SJ at 80/90 and nice paces on the flat.

He’s more woah than go, and needs someone who can give him some confidence & leg while jumping as he’s still learning.

He’s fantastic to hack, alone or in company, great with all farm vehicles, bicycles etc. Not spooky, rides more like a 12yo than a 6yo.

Great to lead, lunge, clip, shoe, etc., clean limbed. He’s fit & ready to crack on this summer with someone. He would be best in a varied home, ideally suited to eventing or all riding club disciplines. He would also be a fantastic, safe hunt horse, and has a good amount of bone.

He will only be sold to the best of homes, he’s the only foal his breeder has bred, but sadly she can’t keep him due to being in her 70s & giving up riding.

People need to have had experience with a young horse due to his age & lack of experience.

Only reason he isn’t 5 figures+ is because he windsucks.
