❤️ THE ULTIMATE CHILD’S BEST FRIEND ❤️
If you cherish your child and want a pony you can genuinely trust then Matilda could be the one.
⭐ 13hh | 9-year-old mare | West Yorkshire ⭐
Matilda is the ultimate first pony and has looked after our girls beautifully for the last 5 years. She is only very sadly available because she has been completely outgrown.
She isn’t a flashy, whizzy competition pony — what Matilda has is far more valuable: a temperament to die for. She is kind, gentle, sensible and genuinely loves children. There isn’t a nasty bone in her body.
❤️ Children can do EVERYTHING with her themselves — catch, groom, tack up, pick out feet and even clip her. She absolutely loves being pampered and fussed over. No parents required! 😂
🐴 RIDDEN
Matilda has done a bit of everything — showing, hacking, pub rides, riding alongside much bigger horses and plenty of bareback fun with the kids.
She is safe and sensible in open spaces, has good brakes, doesn’t get strong and isn’t a forward-going pony, making her ideal for a small or nervous child learning the ropes or gaining confidence.
She has never bucked, reared, spun or napped, either at the arena gate or when leaving the yard.
She is 1000% hacking in company, will hack alone, and is unfazed by traffic. She’s not spooky or silly and is the type you can happily plod around the village on without worrying about what she might do next.
She would suit a young rider looking for a genuine all-round first pony to learn on, gain confidence with and, most importantly, have fun and make memories with.
