Description

Very reluctant sale of the most fab horse. I've owned him for 7 years and he's only had two owners since weaning. Just 16 but really low mileage.

He's kind, no malice at all in him. No vices, turns out with mares and geldings, will go out individually but needs a friend next to him.

He's a good strong 16.3hh (700kg). No novices due to his size and he can be spooky.

I've picked him up and put him down over the years, he's being sold from the field and price reflects that. I've got straight on him after 6 months off and taken him down the road in company and he's never been a problem to get back in work.

He hacks really well in company, doesn't get silly and will lead the ride. On his own he is less forward and will spook so you need to be a confident sensitive rider, you wouldn't get the best out of this horse by trying to bully him.

When in work, my niece rode him a lot in the school when she was 11 and he was always a superstar for her. He's done a bit of everything, has hunted a couple of days, fun rides, show jumping, arena hires etc.

He loads onto a trailer (511) but is used to my 3.5t box.

He's up to date with everything, very easy to do in and out of the stable.

Bad points: you cannot take anything with an electrical cable near him! (have no idea why) so I clip him all over with trimmers (you could sedate) and use a dentist that hand floats. He has always had front feet that require good shoeing (no matter what you try, he won't grow any heel) so he's done every 6 weeks without fail and runs in pads in the summer over hard ground. My farrier happy to talk to yours!

He will only be going to the best of homes, I do not want him being passed around. Not a horse you can stick out in a field 24/7 - he needs stabling in winter at night and in summer during the day when it's hot as he's pink skinned and will burn without proper care.

Happy to disclose full vet history (nothing ongoing or requiring maintenance) and he won't be sold un-seen.

He's a thoroughly nice chap and deserves to be someone's no.1
