"lloyd " Bay Gelding All Rounder

🐴 FOR SALE – LLOYD 🐴

14-year-old Section D gelding, standing at 14.3hh.

Lloyd is a fun, talented pony looking for a knowledgeable home where he can get back out doing what he enjoys most. He is not suitable for a novice rider as he can be pushy on the ground and will take advantage if he thinks he can, particularly when being led. However, with someone confident and consistent, he is a lovely pony who knows his job.

Lloyd absolutely loves his jumping. At home he has comfortably jumped 1.10m courses and has jumped 1.25m through grids. Out competing he has jumped 1m tracks. He is incredibly genuine over a fence, never stops, never looks and will always try his best to help his rider out.

He works nicely on the flat but doesn't particularly enjoy dressage, so a dressage-focused home would not suit him. He much prefers a varied lifestyle with plenty of jumping and hacking.

Lloyd loves hacking and will happily go out alone or in company. When alone he can occasionally need a little encouragement

Good to load, travel, shoe, clip, catch ect

Lloyd has not been in consistent work for some time due to the arrival of my son, so he is currently unfit and will need bringing back into work. This is reflected in his price, making him an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a quality pony at a sensible price. It would not take long to get him back into full work.
