🐴 LANKY LIAM – 13-MONTH-OLD IRISH DRAFT CROSS (COLT) 🐴

Affectionately known as Lanky Liam — and honestly, the name couldn’t be more fitting! 😂

This absolutely stunning steel grey Irish Draft cross is already standing around 14.2–14.3hh at just 13 months old, and he is going to be RIDICULOUSLY big. We expect him to mature into a seriously substantial 16.2hh+ horse, and he may well go even bigger.

Right now, Liam is very much in his ugly duckling stage. He is all legs, gangly and bum-high, with absolutely no body to him yet! 😂 But if you can look beyond that awkward baby stage and see the potential underneath, you are looking at something very special.

This is the sort of horse that is going to grow into a serious head-turner. Once that frame fills out, that beautiful steel-grey colour develops and he gets some proper body behind those legs, he is going to be an absolute showstopper. 🤍🩶

Liam has been halter broken and is starting to lead and tie nicely. We are working with him daily and getting him accustomed to human interaction. He has essentially been allowed to just be a baby and grow naturally, so he is now learning everything from the ground up.

He does therefore need someone with patience, time and experience with young horses who understands that babies like Liam don’t come fully polished. He needs somebody who is prepared to put the time in and allow him to develop at his own pace.
