A very difficult sale of a much-loved member of our family. This handsome 16.1hh Warmblood Thoroughbred gelding is only available due to circumstances beyond our control. He needs an open-front stable, and unfortunately we have been unable to find suitable facilities.

He has only had two homes and has not been spoilt by racing, giving him a fantastic foundation with plenty of potential. He would make a brilliant riding horse, hunting prospect, or all-rounder.

He has three lovely, balanced paces and is happy to plod along quietly or step up a gear when asked. He enjoys his work and is a genuine pleasure to ride. He prefers a confident rider to get the best from him, but he has a lovely temperament and is kind enough to happily help children and grandchildren under supervision.

He must have an open-front stable as he likes to see what’s going on around him and doesn’t settle well behind fully enclosed sliding stable doors. This is very important, and his new home must be able to accommodate this.

Shortly after we bought him, he knocked his leg, resulting in a slight lameness. He was fully assessed and treated by our vet, had a month off, and was given the all-clear to return to work. He has had no issues since, and it does not affect him in any way.

• Loves being out hunting and can be in with others in arena.

He loves being tacked up and becomes a little show off as he loves to look good and be the best in the class.

This is an incredibly hard decision, so only a genuine 5* home will be considered. Finding the right person for him is far more important than a quick sale.
