Looking for a quality Thoroughbred to produce this summer? Meet Inexplicable, known as Ian at home.

Ian has recently retired from racing after losing his love for the job. He was an incredibly tough and genuine racehorse throughout his career and has earned a quieter life and a new adventure.

Since his last race he enjoyed 2 months turned away and is now ready to start his next chapter. He has begun coming back into a stable routine and is now being reintroduced to work.

Ian is currently being introduced to the school and is happily working in all three paces. As expected for a horse newly out of racing and early in his retraining, he is still green, but he is taking everything in his stride and has a willing attitude to learning.

No injuries or known health issues

Good to box, clip and shoe

Recently had a full set of shoes fitted

Ian has only travelled in a 3.5t horsebox with us, where he loads and travels well. We haven't tried him in a trailer, but wouldn't anticipate any issues.

It is difficult to explain just how much quality this horse has. He is a proper old-fashioned, substantial Thoroughbred with plenty of presence and bone. He could be produced for ROR classes, riding club activities, hunting, showing or simply enjoyed as an all-round horse.

Priced to reflect where he is in his retraining. If not sold, Ian will continue his education with us and his price will increase as he progresses.
