"Havana " Dark Bay Mare Dressage Horse

Havana is a beautiful, affectionate KWPN mare by Charmeur who absolutely loves attention. She has a lovely temperament and is a pleasure to have around, being incredibly easy to handle in every way.

She is very well schooled and currently working at Elementary level at home, with three lovely paces and established lateral work. She has previously competed at low-level British Dressage and unaffiliated Prelim and Novice. Unfortunately, due to personal commitments and lack of time, we haven’t been able to compete as much as we would have liked. With the right home and someone able to give her the time she deserves, I believe she has the ability to progress further.

Havana is a genuine, quality mare who enjoys her work and would suit a competent amateur looking to progress in dressage. She is not a novice ride, as she can be spooky on occasion, although she is generally sensible and straightforward.

She hacks alone but is happier with company. She travels perfectly on her own and is always exceptionally well behaved at shows and away from home. She is excellent for the vet, dentist, farrier, clipping and general handling.

Havana does have arthritis in both hocks, which is currently easily managed. She has been with the same home since she was 3, so her full medical history is known and available to prospective buyers.

This is an extremely sad sale due solely to personal circumstances and commitments, and the decision has not been made lightly. Havana deserves a home where she can receive the time, attention and love she deserves.
