Description

Ben is a very kind and genuine horse who loves people. he is like owning your very own Ferrari with 4 legs. Always willing to be ridden and puts a smile on your face every time you sit on him.

I have owned him since he was 2 yrs old and he was very easy to back and ride away. I have spent a lot of my time getting him out and into the world. he is great to take out and really enjoys a good day at the forest having a long canter. We don't have great hacking where he lives but did happily do roadwork at our last yard when he was 4 .

He loves to jump and finds it very easy but i don't enjoy jumping anymore so i have a friend that comes to do that with him so he has jumped a limited amount. However we did take him to an arena hire with a course of show jumps and he happily popped round not looking at a thing.

I have predominately trained him for my first love of dressage and this year he has qualified easily for pet plan regionals at novice level. training at home for elementary with some baby half passes and even some half steps . He is always ridden in a snaffle.

At this time he lives out 24/7 but he has lived in a more conventional yard environment which he was also fine in but he thrives living out as he is a busy character .

he is also barefoot having never warn shoes and this is my choice but he is good with farrier so i would believe he would be fine to be shod if you are wanting too.

he travels happily and relaxed in my little lorry and i have no reason to think he would not load and travel well in other things.

I have made this hard decision as i believe for him he needs a younger braver rider that can help him fulfill his full potential whatever that maybe.

Ben is defiantly not for a beginner as he has a lot of power so please only contact if you are happy with the more powerful type..
