"Frog" Grey Gelding Ex Racehorse

Honest advert for my beautiful Frog. 16.3hh/17hh 9 year old, grey, thoroughbred.

I have had Frog for just over a year, he is my dream horse and he was bought as a potential RoR prospect. Unfortunately, due to the recent ill health of my husband and the fact I have had to go back to full time work to support my family, I have made the difficult decision to sell him. He is currently being wasted and has been in the field for 4 weeks due to lack of time, hence why he is being sold from the field.

He is the sweetest boy, a true gentleman to have around, you can do anything with him and he takes it all in his stride. The only bad thing I have to say about him is he doesn't stand still to mount when he has been out of work, like most tb's he like's to crack on with the job and get going, however, you can mount on your own if you can jump on jockey style, or he will stand at the mounting block if you have a friend on the ground with a lick and a few treats. This does get better with consistency and the more work he does and when he is in full time work I am able to mount from the mounting block on my own.

Frog is a fast learner, is eager to please and is an all round nice person. He hacks out alone and in company, and was used as a nanny for the youngsters at his racing yard for a while after retirement. He is 100% in traffic, never bucked or reared, and isn't spooky in the slightest. He has a very sensible head on his shoulders, we have been on a fun ride together, i'm not the most confident rider and he looked after me perfectly. His schooling is really coming on and again he always tries his best no matter what you are asking of him.

He would make a great all rounder, or a perfect RoR prospect, he is a chunky boy, moves beautifully, and oozes quality. He is up to date with worming, farrier, dentist and physio. No lumps or bumps, never sick or sorry.

I honestly struck gold with this lovely boy, and he will only go to the very best of homes.
