Freddie really does have it all: looks, temperament, breeding and extraordinary presence.

By Finest and out of a fabulous Donnerhall dam line, Freddie is currently standing at approximately 17.3hh and is expected to make around 18hh. Despite his size, he is not long in the back and is remarkably compact and athletic. He has a dynamic hind leg and is already showing a natural ability to sit, engage and push from behind.

He has the size and presence to really take up the leg of a taller rider, while remaining compact enough through his body to give him every chance of producing the collection and expression required for the top level work. He is an incredibly exciting prospect for someone wanting a serious dressage horse for the future.

Temperament wise, Freddie is essentially a giant Labrador. Cheeky, affectionate and exceptionally laid back, but interested in people and life. He absolutely loves attention and is a pleasure to have around.

All the groundwork is in place. He catches, loads and travels well and is good for the vet, farrier and dentist. He lunges and long reins, has worn a numnah and roller and is completely relaxed about someone lying over his back. In fact, he is more likely to go to sleep!

He has also already hacked out in heavy traffic while being ponied from another horse and has taken everything completely in his stride.

The only thing left to do is get on. However, because of his size, I have deliberately chosen not to rush him. He is still a big, developing three year old and deserves the time to mature properly before beginning his ridden career.

He happily lives in or out and can live with mares or geldings.

I am genuinely heartbroken to offer Freddie for sale. I have six horses and have recently had a baby, and I need to be realistic about the time I will have available. I simply don't think I can do this incredible young horse justice.

He deserves a home with someone who is as excited about his future as I am and who will give him the time to develop into the horse I truly believe he can become.
