Following a successful racing career, he has spent the last few enjoying a bit of everything, including hacking, hunting, fun rides and beach rides.
Fred is safe, honest and absolutely knows his job. However, he is an ex-racer who is best suited to a competent rider who can continue to enjoy all he has to offer. He has recently been out of work all this year but is completely sound, doing well, and ready to get back out and enjoy a lighter routine again - I have rode him once and he was a super star.
He is a gentleman on the ground and is excellent to shoe, clip, catch and load. He is also happy to be vetted :)
Fred is a typical TB and can lose his condition during the winter months, so he needs plenty of calories and warm rugs to keep his condition. He flourishes once the spring grass arrives, as you can see from pics.
Fred deserves the best and most loving home. Finding the right 5-star home is far more important than anything else, and I will be doing my own vetting to ensure he finds the home he deserves. Feel free to call and to potentially come and meet him.
