Flame is an incredibly versatile little mare with an absolute heart of gold. She always gives 100% and has the sweetest temperament, making her a pleasure to have around.

She is super easy to handle on the ground, loves her stable, and equally enjoys being turned out. She is happy living with mares or geldings and is also content on her own.

Flame had a successful racing career, winning several races before retiring happy, healthy, and sound. She had no injuries during her career and has lovely clean legs.

I worked at the racing yard where Flame was trained and rode her myself, so I know her extremely well. Even during her racing days, she was one of the easiest horses on the yard and truly was an “anyone’s ride.” She was always straightforward to catch, lead, load, clip, shoe, and travel, taking everything in her stride.

Since retiring from racing, Flame has taken to her new career brilliantly. She is willing, intelligent, and eager to learn, always trying her hardest to please her rider. She has the foundations to excel in a variety of disciplines, whether that’s riding club activities, hacking, dressage, low-level eventing, or show jumping.

She enjoys hacking and is sensible both alone and in company. In the school, she is responsive and genuine, with a lovely trainable attitude.

Flame has just started jumping, and although is green she is showing so much potential and will be a lovely little jumper for someone, already seeming very brave over a fence!

Flame would suit someone looking for a kind and uncomplicated horse to produce further and enjoy. She has the temperament to make a fantastic all-rounder and will undoubtedly become someone’s best friend.
