If you're looking for a horse that restores your faith in riding, Fanta might just be your man.

He's quite simply one of the straightest, kindest and easiest rides we've had through the yard. The sort that gives you confidence rather than taking it away, and genuinely wants to help his rider every step of the way.

Show him a fence and he'll jump it. Any line, any stride, any distance – he'll do his absolute best to sort it out for you. He's incredibly honest and would quite happily jump the moon if you pointed him at it.

Out hacking, he's just as lovely. Happy alone or in company, forward enough to be fun without ever feeling strong or silly. He's the type you can relax on and simply enjoy.

On the ground he's an easy horse to have around. The only negotiation you'll have is occasionally convincing him to leave his bedroom in the morning… a treat usually wins that discussion! We've also been told he can sometimes be a little opinionated for the farrier and may appreciate a Lickit to keep him occupied.

He was no trouble for us, but we'd rather mention it than pretend he's perfect.

Fanta would make an outstanding Riding Club horse for someone wanting to get out and enjoy themselves, or equally he'd be a fabulous mother-and-daughter share. He's safe, genuine, forgiving and the sort that makes every ride enjoyable.

A seriously lovely gelding who will be very hard to replace.
