13-year-old registered Connemara mare with quality showjumping breeding and a lovely chunky traditional stamp with good bone. A genuine, kind mare looking for a home where she can continue doing what she enjoys most.

She is an absolute pleasure to own and handle. Excellent to catch, load, travel, clip, trim (barefoot) and for the vet. She has never had any medical issues and has been an easy, straightforward horse to keep.

She hacks alone and in company and is good in traffic and open spaces. She can be a little looky when out on her own but is never silly, and with company she will happily plod along all day.

She has been re-backed by myself and was so easy throughout the whole process, she is low mileage for her age. She works sweetly in walk, trot and canter but has only been schooled properly in the last year, so would benefit from someone competent to continue her education.

She also goes happily bitless and loves a bit of liberty or trick training.

She has been taken to numerous shows and behaves impeccably, happily standing tied to the lorry with a haynet 😂 and warming up in busy atmospheres. She has been cross-country schooling, completed a small working hunter round clear and placing, she has been showing on the flat, been to fun rides and has proven to be bold and genuine when following another horse, so could make for a fun team chaser!

Where she really comes into her own is hunting. She absolutely loves the job and has hunted successfully for two seasons with Coakham Bloodhounds. She would make a fantastic hunting horse, following team chaser, fun ride horse or quality all-round leisure horse for someone to spoil and love.

She is not being sold as a competitive showjumper, as this is not where her strengths lie. She is much happier in a varied home where she can hack, hunt, school, have a nice jump at home and enjoy life. She has never bucked, reared or bolted and has a kind, willing temperament.

Saying this she doesn’t mind jumping around 50/60 and has done some riding club shows with me.

With her traditional Connemara stamp, excellent breeding and lovely nature, she would also make an attractive prospect for showing or as a future broodmare.

A much-loved mare who deserves a knowledgeable home that will appreciate her many qualities.
