"Elsa" Dark Bay Mare All Rounder

Elsa is a stunning 5 year old Bay Mare. She has been in the same home since being a yearling. She has been backed and started her ridden life and will make a little rider a fantastic pony with a little bit of education.

She’s got a wonderful personality and adores people. She follows you all over and adores children. She’s a complete pet. She comes over to be caught. She loves being groomed and fussed over. She’s good for the blacksmith, to groom, bath etc. She’s settles in a stable really well and has no vices or ailments.

Elsa is really well handled and has done lots of groundwork. She’s excellent on the lunge and works over poles and jumps and loves it. She has a really good attitude to work.

She has been slowly brought on and this summer started her ridden work. She has been chauffeuring my 4 year old daughter around on the lead rein and loves going out along the tracks and forests. She’s very bold and doesn’t seem fazed by anything.

In the last few weeks I’ve borrowed a friends daughter to get her going a bit and to understand aids etc. she’s walking and trotting and going over poles with a rider on the lunge and had started being ridden solo around out fields.

She’s only for sale due to lack of jockey to get her going and I don’t want her to become a lead rein pony as she’s going to be too big for my daughter for quite a few years and I don’t want her to be wasted doing very little as she loves to work.
