"Elcon Heirloom - Flossy" Grey Mare Lead Rein/First Ridden Pony

A really smart Welsh Section A mare with good conformation, lovely movement and plenty of presence, Flossy has all the makings of a very attractive lead rein pony with exciting potential to develop into a first ridden for the future.

Flossy has been carefully produced with her long-term future in mind. Plenty of time has been spent on groundwork and giving her a varied education rather than rushing her, and she is now progressing really nicely with her ridden work.

She is established on the lead rein and hacks both on and off the lead, proving good in traffic. Her independent ridden work is continuing to develop and she is showing a willing attitude towards everything being asked of her.

Flossy has attended a lead rein show where she was very well behaved and took the experience in her stride. She has also been introduced to coloured poles and has started popping small jumps, giving her a good variety within her education.

She has lovely, eye-catching movement and good conformation, which alongside her ridden potential could make her a really exciting little pony for someone wanting to continue producing her for the show ring.

Flossy is still green and a work in progress, particularly with her independent ridden work, so she is not being sold as a finished first ridden. However, she is progressing well and we feel she has genuine potential to become a quality lead rein / first ridden pony with continued correct education.
