Dolly is 10 years old,

a fully registered, 13.2hh British Riding pony, she is athletically built

She is best suited to a confident child as a second pony. She is a sensitive mare with a few quirks, so she needs a kind, patient and sympathetic rider who will take the time to build a partnership with

We have owned dolly for almost 3 years and in that time she has transformed my 12-year-old daughter’s confidence.

Together they’ve attended their first local shows, hacked for miles both alone and in company, and made countless happy memories. Saying goodbye is going to be incredibly hard, but she is only for sale as my daughter has sadly outgrown her

Dolly is a forward-going pony with brakes. She absolutely loves to jump and is currently happily jumping around 55cm with the ability to jump bigger. She’s quick off the mark and is great fun to ride. Dolly has also recently done cross country and did fab.

She is:

🩷 Good to shoe (front shoes) and trim

🩷 Good for the dentist

🩷 Good to load and travel

🩷 Happy hacking alone or in company

🩷 Excellent in heavy traffic – she’s sensible and confident around lorries, tractors, buses and busy roads

🩷 Comes with wardrobe

In the interest of complete honesty, Dolly does have a couple of stable vices. She wind sucks and can box walk, particularly if she’s waiting for her friends or her routine changes. These habits have never stopped her from doing her job or affected her enjoyment of work, and we feel it’s important to be upfront so we can find her the right home.

Dolly has come such a long way with us, she is a sweet mare and once you earn her trust, she’ll give you her whole heart.
