"Dandylion" Skewbald Gelding All Rounder

For sale Dandylion lovely skewbald palomino and white 12 year old Shetland gelding.

He is passported with the Shetland pony stud book society and has all of his bloodlines in the book if you would like to know more regarding his breeding please message me and I will be pleased to send over.

He has been driven previously in his old homes and I have long reined him out and he is great and listens to all the commands however I am not experienced in driving so I have not continued with that. He also has had my friends child ride him and he was great on the lead rein with other horses. This hasn’t not been done regularly so would need to be bought back into work if you wanted to do that with him but is a lovely pony and wouldn’t take long.

He trots up on the lead , picks all her feet up, nice bare feet and is good with our farrier, he loves being brushed.

He has been in the stables over night loves his stable comes in to be fed and brushed and time in and is good no vices.

He had also has lived out with a field shelter during the winter and was fine with that too.

He is an easy pony and fits in to most routines.

He is good putting rugs on and off and tack on and off. He also is great to clip I clip him loads as he gets very wooly in the winter, he stands great for this.

He loves a bath and he will lets you do this great.

He is Wormed all up to date, his vacs are all up to date. Teeth have been done annually all good.

I have used him manly as a companion to my other ponies and big 15.3 mare and he is great with geldings and mares.

He can be left alone too.

He is a very friendly chap and loves attention I take him for walks with others while they hack and he listens and trots up next to me to keep up, he lunges great with tack on or a pad on, super cheeky chap.

I took him showing in hand last year and he won and was a delight, he travelled on the box alone and stood for hours, trotted in his class and was a very good lad.

I am looking for a knowledgable home for him so he can fit right at home. I am downsizing hence the sale but there is no rush and the right home is very important.
