Ruby's first time out with us she won the Open Mountain and Moorland Large Breeds in hand, then went on to take Reserve Champion. She stood in the collecting ring at a busy country fair surrounded by kids and ponies she was foot perfect and mannerly all day stood on the box quietly and just took the whole day in her stride.
She is good to groom, bath and will stand tied anywhere all day long. She has started her ridden career, we have taken it slowly shes been long reined on roads lanes and in open spaces on her own and with others. She's been slowly backed, will stand to be mounted at the block and of the ground. She's currently riding forward around the yard sweetly without been tense or stressed. She has seen all traffic as we are stabled on a working farm. She is used to small children footballs and farm animals also! She's seen alot in her short years! She loads and travels well on a trailer or wagon, we clipped her this spring and she stood perfectly still like a pro. Ruby has beautiful elivated paces with the traditional Welsh movement front and behind she moves to die for and oozes presence and ability for the show ring or a general Alrounder. I personally think she would excel in the show ring on the flat or WHP as she has some serious natural ability. Ruby is riding away well and is ready for someone to put their own stamp on for which ever discipline required.
