"Connemara " Golden Dun Mare Happy Hacker

14.2hh now. 3yo.

Suitable as a broodmare/ hacker. Has two scars both occurred with us. One on her hind leg which needed antibiotics but not deep. Treated by the vets. We xrayed at the time to check for bone chip and all fine and away from joint. Vets thought she would make a full recovery, but she can be stiff behind on uneven surface. Sound on flexion/concrete. We think scar tissue is affecting her movement so might improve with time.

Owned since a 2yo. Well handled but unbroken.

Leads, groom, trim and loads well. Happily wears tack. Friendly temperament.

Teeth checked recently and up to date with tetanus. Negative Hoof wall. Easy to keep. Good with all horses.

Well bred. Registered Connemara so would be an asset to any stud. Golden Dun who shouldn’t grey out. If not sold we will try putting her in foal ourselves next spring. But we haven’t bred before hence why offering her to studs first.
