"Colnevalley Utopia's Boy (Rango)" Chestnut Gelding All Rounder

🌟 Stunning 15.2hh Chestnut Gelding | 6 Years Old | Quality Riding Club & Event Prospect 🌟

A genuine, well-bred young horse with all the ingredients to make an exceptional Riding Club, eventing, dressage, or all-round competition partner.

Purchased as a 4-year-old with the intention of producing him for Riding Club and eventing, he has sadly not had the opportunity to fulfil his potential due to my ongoing health issues and inability to ride consistently. This is a very difficult sale of a much-loved horse who deserves a home where his talent can be further developed.

Why You'll Love Him ❤️

✅ Exceptional breeding, sired by the Olympic showjumper B F Utopia

✅ Attractive chestnut gelding with plenty of presence

✅ Naturally athletic with an exciting jump and scope to progress

✅ Big, expressive paces that regularly attract positive comments from judges

✅ Schooling nicely on the flat and showing real quality for dressage

✅ Forward-thinking without being strong and happily ridden in a snaffle

✅ Attended Riding Club rallies where he has been calm, sensible and enjoyable

✅ Excellent on fun rides and when out and about, goes first, last, alone or in company

✅ Loves attention and enjoys being fussed over

✅ Happy living in or out

✅ Passed a full 5-stage vetting when purchased

Competition & Experience

Due to my health, much of his recent work has consisted of hacking and Riding Club activities rather than a structured competition programme. Despite this, he has attended dressage competitions and consistently received mainly 7s with some 6s, suggesting excellent potential for higher scores as his education progresses.

Although we have only been jumping around 70cm, this reflects my own confidence rather than any limitation on his ability. He is careful, athletic and shows every indication that he has the scope and talent to jump significantly bigger in the future.

Ideal Home

He would suit a competent and sympathetic rider looking for a quality young horse to produce and enjoy. As with many talented young horses, he can occasionally feel tense with a new rider until he gains confidence in them. Once settled, he is rewarding, willing and always tries his best. Several riders at my yard have ridden him both at home and away on fun rides and have commented on how genuine and enjoyable he is.

The Future

With regular schooling and competition experience, I genuinely believe he has the talent to excel in Riding Club activities, dressage, eventing or as an outstanding all-round competition horse.

A very special young horse with a bright future ahead of him. Serious enquiries only as finding the right home is extremely important.
