It is with a very heavy heart that we offer our much-loved Choc-Ice for sale. He is an ideal first horse coming off ponies, would make a fantastic mother/daughter share, and would also suit a small adult looking for a genuine all-rounder.

We have owned Choc-Ice for 14 years, buying him as a 4-year-old when I was just 11 years old. He took me from ponies to horses and, more recently, has spent the last 4½ years on full loan, where he has done exactly the same for his current rider, taking her from her first pony onto horses. Sadly, she is now heading off to university and, with a young baby, I am unable to take him back, so we have made the heartbreaking decision to find him the perfect next home.

Choc-Ice is a genuine all-rounder who enjoys a varied life. He works beautifully on the flat, produces a lovely dressage test, and has regularly jumped 80–95cm courses. He has attended Pony Club regularly and has taken part in a variety of activities, proving himself to be a fun and willing partner. He can be enthusiastic when doing what he loves, but he is never nasty or dangerous.

At 18 years old, he has been there, done it all, and still has plenty to offer. He would be perfectly suited to a teenager looking to progress, someone stepping up from ponies, or as a mother/daughter share. He will step up or down and tries his best at what you ask of him.

He is good to shoe, box, clip, catch, and handle, and is a pleasure to own. Choc-Ice has a cheeky, affectionate personality and is loved by everyone who meets him.

This is an incredibly difficult sale, and finding the right home is our absolute priority . We will only let him go to a loving, knowledgeable home where he will continue to be cherished.
