"Chalky " Skewbald Gelding All Rounder

It’s with an very heavy heart I write this as he is a huge part of our family and farm life and herd, but sadly my daughter has hopelessly outgrown him and ready for horses, I can’t bare to see him go to waste when he is just fantastic!

Introducing Chalky age 10 Gelding cob

We have owned Chalky for 5.5 years and I would describe him as an absolute legend! My daughter started riding him age 10 and has literally done everything with him from Show jumping, XC , 4x pony camps, hunting, beach ride, Dressage, ODE and everything else! I have 1000s of photos and videos of all his adventures.

He is an absolute pleasure to handle, comes straight to you when you call, he is so chilled and fantastic both on the ground and ridden.

We live on a sheep farm so he is used to everything from machinery, sheep, chickens, dog and cats! Nothing fazes him! He hacks out both alone and in company in big open spaces, my daughter often takes him hacking and jumping round the fields alone and he’s super relaxed.

Everyone who meets him absolutely loves him! He has competed lots with my daughter and often in the placings, her wall is full of rosettes and sashes from their time together.

He can either be clipped out or full feather and mane, which ever you fancy!

He is fabulous out hunting, not fazed by the hounds of huge groups of ponies (he’s been in groups up to 70 ponies/horse and riders) i have plenty vids and photos of this.

Loads and travels perfectly

Barefoot and great feet! The easiest pony to care for! He has lived out 24/7 here but he was stabled in his last home so he’s easy!

Home is upmost important for Chalky and we would want to keep in touch to follow his next chapter!

My daughter is booked into her 5th year of pony camp at the end of July so Chalky would only be available after the 2nd August, but viewings welcome
