🐴 MAVERICK – 3 YEAR OLD NEW FOREST GELDING – VERY SAD SALE 🐴

This is an incredibly difficult advert to write because Maverick is genuinely a fantastic little pony and such a lovely character. ❤️

Maverick is 3 years old, a lovely strong, sturdy type with bags of potential. He absolutely loves people, enjoys attention and will happily stand being groomed and fussed over.

He is still very green and at the beginning of his education. He has worn a saddle and bridle and has been walked around quietly with someone sitting in the saddle, but we have deliberately not rushed him and he is not a backed/ridden pony. He now needs someone experienced who has the time to continue his education correctly.

He is an incredibly strong little pony physically and I think he could potentially make a brilliant driving pony with the right training, although he has not been trained to drive.

Maverick can be fussy about having his feet handled. This is something we are continually working on with him and he is improving, but his new owner will need to be patient and continue that work.

He really is a people pony. He loves being around you, loves a groom and has so much personality. He isn’t being sold because he’s done anything wrong I simply don’t have the time he deserves to properly train and educate a young pony.

This is a genuinely sad sale and finding the right, knowledgeable home is extremely important to me. He has so much potential in the right hands and I’d love to see someone bring out the best in him rather than him standing in a field waiting for me to find the time.
