"BB" Bright Bay Gelding Ex Racehorse

A very Handsome small horse.

It's quite rare to find this small type of tb. He is just like an overgrown pony!

BB is of slight build. I think 9 stone is probably enough for him to carry.

If you are looking for a small, attractive horse, he could be for you.

Lovely little person, that enjoys the company of other horses and being someones centre of attention.

His history: raced twice, but due to his size was too slow. Retired end of last year. I picked him up in November and he's had the year to grow on and fill out and be a horse.

He's now come back in and has literally just started hacking for 30 minutes a day. I will continue to increase his fitness slowly untill sold. He seems to be good in traffic, although limited exposure to large vehicles. What lorries we have passed, managed in a way to match his experience, he has been very good with.

In my experience, BB is a sensible type of tb, with a brave attitude and wants to please. He isn't scatty or over reactive like some Thoroughbred horses, but still has a level of sensitivity that needs understanding.

Having only ever raced. He currently has no Schooling, but does stop, go, turns left and right.

He is used to being handled and knows what children are and what comes with them. Travels and loads well. He seems to LOVE little ponies and is particularly fascinated by miniature Shetlands.

Whilst he's been on holiday I've allowed him to be a horse and lives out in company and comes in when necessary to be stabled. He's happy to leave his friends to come into the barn.

He is ready to start his new ridden career, and I could see him doing a multitude of jobs.

If you are wanting to put your own stamp on a horse, but would like something that already has manners and ties up and all the basic things including loading and being shod, stands to be washed down. He would definitely be worth a look.

BB has a lovely outlook on life. Has no hang ups, no vices, and in my opion is quite a brave little horse.
