Amigo can turn his hoof to anything, he was a favourite at the riding school teaching many children to ride , but can also switch it up and be great fun for the more experienced and confident rider as he’s also a proper competition pony - whizzy, can turn on a six pence and so much fun!
I’m looking for a rider he clicks with, either novice or more experienced. If novice, ideally with a horsey parent or frequent instruction.
He’s easy to do in all ways, clip, shoe, travel / load. Has been used to standing for hours at pony days for children to groom etc. Can live out in a herd and has lived out 24/7 in a group for multiple years, he’s super easy to deal with. I’ve never had any issues with weight over the winter time, doesn’t require much hard feed. He doesn’t change whether you don’t ride him for a week or a month, can hop straight back on no issues.
Has had his hocks injected. He can occasionally go a little stiff but I’ve always been able to manage this fine with not drilling him on solid ground etc and have had him on a joint supplement. Price reflects this.
Amigo has been my childhood to adulthood pony for the last 8 years, we have taught and grown with each other so the best home is paramount. He got me back into riding and i’ve been so lucky to enjoy him for so long. Would ideally send with a contract that if he were ever to be sold again I had first refusal or at least would know where he went as he means so much to me!
More recently he’s not in as much work as i’m busy with work and other commitments. I’m also sadly just getting too tall (if only they could grow!) and he deserves to be having fun and making another little person as happy as he’s made me over the years.
